Weight loss tips? They are, a dime, a dozen. Go surfing on the net and you will get your eye full of them. A lot of the information that you will find is really pretty good in my estimation. If this is the case, then why do the majority of people who go on a weight loss program eventually fall off of it and become overweight again?

This has always been very intriguing to me. I spend much of my waking hours pondering the many diverse reasons why people do fail. If I wrap all of them together, I just simply call it obstacles to weight loss.

I write a lot of articles on weight loss, and this is always at the forefront of my thinking when I write. I find myself always looking for ways that I might be able to help people identify one or two of their particular obstacles to weight loss. If you know what they are and have identified them, then, that puts you in a position to work at removing them and becoming successful.

I really think that I could probably spend my whole life finding something to write about, without ever really diverting far away from this subject. But today, I just started making a list of weight loss tips to see how high of a number of them that I could come up with off the top of my head.

They are not impressive to me compared to most I`ve seen before.You will clearly see that I didn`t give this much effort. But, this article finishes up talking about No. 40. and that is as far as I got.

40 Weight Loss Tips.

1. Lower your fat intake.

2. Drink 80 oz of water a day.

3. Don`t mix carbs and fats at the same meal.

4. Exercise.

5. Have fruit and vegetable snacks inbetween meals.

6. Eat toast instead of bread.

7. Stay ahead of your grocery shopping.

8. Find a companion to work with you on it.

9. Do it for your health.

10. Do it for your loved ones.

11. Enjoy yourself.

12. Do it for your clothes.

13. No Carbs past noon.

14. Keep blood sugar levels even and sufficient.

15. Educate yourself in what you are doing.

16. Read your food labels.

17. Find a cheater exercise.

18. Do it to feel good.

19. Don`t compromise.

20. Don`t get lazy.

21. Have a weight loss competition.

22. Make a bet.

23. Replace the foods that you crave.

24. Don`t drink soda or sugar drinks.

25. Get rid of white flour.

26. Get rid of sugar.

27. Plan ahead of time.

28. Do it for your love life.

29. Find a weight loss forum online.

30. Exercise in front of the TV.

31. Exercise while reading.

32. Make it priority No.1.

33. Park away and walk across parking lots.

34. Shop for clothes you can`t wear yet.

35. Don`t use the elevator. Use the stairs.

36. Write meaningful notes to yourself.

37. Tell friends and family how important this is to you.

38. Go dancing.

39. Dance with your kids.

Last but not least...

40. Go to war with anyone who tries to sabatage your efforts. Finding peace with you will be them finding peace with your diet.

I`m not kidding. Some people will act as if you`ve stolen something away from them. After all, now they can not just sit down with you and have a meal like you did before, when you just ate and did not care about how fat you both got. They don`t want those moments taken away from them.

Prepare to battle these people. You don`t need to find them, they will find you. After the war they will either then become your friend, or your foe.

That last one unfortunately can be a huge obstacle in weight loss for many. The people in your family and even some of your dearest friends can at times be insensitive to how important succeeding at weight loss can be for you. If they won`t join you, BEAT THEM.

If weight loss is real important to you, and it is important to you because, you are concerned about your health. Remove the obstacles that keep you from being successful. Communicate how important this really is. Tell people about the fears that you have. It`s a clear road ahead if they end up supporting you in this. If they won`t join you, BEAT THEM.
